Generators, like motors, require a full complement of high quality, tough, and dependable pressure-sensitive insulation tapes. Our tapes will provide the extra protection you may want for end turns or formed coils. If you need phase insulation that will stay in place, our adhesive glass cloth tapes are a great choice. When you have a lead connection and want extra protection for the splice, we have the glass cloth or laminate tape you want. IPG is the only manufacturer that has the right product if you want edging tape for slot liners. We also make tape products to bundle a formed coil wire stacks, or take coil sets off the winding machine and make sure they will stay securely in place. When it comes to a ‘third hand’ to hold things in place or tighten up coils, or if you need high dielectric or high temperature tapes, we have product solutions for your application. IPG goes all the way around the generator when it comes to pressure-sensitive insulation tapes.
